Register for the Assistant Scaffolder 2.0 training course and examination

From 1 December 2025, anyone assisting with scaffolding assembly and dismantling work must have at least an SVWOH industry certificate for Assistant Scaffolder 2.0. So register now for the online instruction, exam and practical training for Assistant Scaffolder 2.0.

Where can you take the training course and exam?

The theory and practical instruction for Assistant Scaffolder 2.0 is provided by the VSB-accredited training providers Bonapi, Bouwradius, Özel Opleidingen, Perspective, STE and The Yellow Academy. These training providers work in accordance with the guidelines of the Foundation for Working Safely at Height (SVWOH).

When registering, you choose which trainer, on which day and at what time, and at which location in the Netherlands you want to take the instruction and the exam. The SVWOH exam is administered by the Foundation for Working at Height Examination (SEWOH).

A new abbreviated online instruction and practical training course has been developed. You can choose the training provider, date, time and location when you apply. The instruction and exam can be taken in your own language.

If you pass the exam, you will receive the Industry Certificate Assistant Scaffolder 2.0. The industry certificate is valid for three years and is registered in the SSVV’s central diploma register (CDR).

What is the application process?

Register via the SVWOH website. You can do this by clicking on the registration button.
Enter the information required for your training, the exam and the industry certificate.
Pay for the Assistant Scaffolder 2.0 training and exam.
Choose which VSB-accredited trainer you would like to follow the training and exam with.
Then choose the location, date and time you would like to start.
You will receive confirmation of your registration from SVWOH by e-mail.
The training provider will then contact you to finalise your registration.

Costs and payment

The total cost for Assistant Scaffolder 2.0 is € 285,- excluding VAT.
The SVWOH industry certificate is valid for three years.
